Banks and ATMS
Manali has both nationalized and Private banks. Prominent ones are State Bank of INDIA, UCO BANK, Punjab National Bank, bank of Baroda, Central Bank and HDFC Bank. Most of the banks have installed ATMS at major location around mall road.
But banks in Manali no longer offer foreign exchange except State Bank of India and Punjab National Bank. You can find some Western Union authorized forex counters. But many Banks also accommodate, ATM on selected foreign cards. If travellers are moving to Ladakh, Keylong or Spiti regions, then keeping CASH and Indian Currency is advised.
